JIS C4641 (standardized under Japanese Industrial Standard JIS H 3250 for copper and copper alloy rods and bars) is the standard Japanese specification for Naval Brass. Engineered on a duplex (α + β) 60/40 copper-zinc matrix, it incorporates approximately 0.7% to 1.2% Tin (Sn) to deliver high resistance against dezincification and seawater corrosion. It is widely used across East Asian shipbuilding, offshore installations, power generation, and coastal fluid-handling equipment.
