CW712R

CW712R (metallurgical designation CuZn36Sn1Pb) is a duplex (α + β) Naval Brass governed by European standards EN 12164 (rods for free machining), EN 12165 (forging stock), and EN 12167 (profiles and rectangular bars). Recognized as the modern Euronorm equivalent to traditional BS 2874 CZ112 and closely aligned with ASTM B21 UNS C46200 / C46400, it is engineered for marine and high-humidity environments where seawater corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and hot workability are paramount.
