CZ112

CZ112 (governed by British Standard BS 2874 and harmonized in Europe as EN 12164 / CW708R) is the classic, high-performance Naval Brass alloy engineered primarily for marine engineering, offshore installations, and saline fluid-handling systems. Based on a 60/40 copper-zinc duplex (Α + Β) matrix, it is fortified with 1.0% to 1.5% Tin (Sn) to deliver resistance against dezincification and galvanic corrosion in seawater and aggressive brackish environments.
